In Memory - A Concert for David Mucklow

It is with great sadness that Susan and I post notice of the passing of David Mucklow, our long-time friend and my piping partner of many years.

At 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2007, I will be joining other musicians and friends of David Mucklow to present A Musical Celebration of the life of Dave Mucklow. This concert will be held at the Shady Grove Coffee House, in the Unitarian Universalist Community Church, 11105 Cauthorne Road, Glen Allen, Va., 23059. Admission will be free and donations will go to the David Mucklow Memorial Piobairachd Scholarship fund to enable young pipers to study and carry on the art he loved so much.

I will continue my piping and both Susan and I look forward to continuing the fall bagpipe concert tradition at Bon Air Christian Church, Disciples of Christ in the autumn of 2008.

Thanks so much to all of you who followed our playing and shared in our annual celebration over the past 9 years.
